We read telemetry from two sources already at your site: the utility-owned grid meter and your battery management system. Read-only access. No control, no commands, no interference.

STEP 2

2. Verify

Grid-side and asset-side data are cross-referenced through a 10-check physics validation pipeline. Discrepancies are flagged. Every check is documented and reproducible.

STEP 3

3. Sign

Each attestation record is cryptographically signed (Ed25519). Neither you nor SynthGrid can alter a record after the fact. Tamper-evident by design.

4. Report

BatteryPassport certification delivered monthly, quarterly, and annually - matching the cadence your lender already uses. Degradation curves. Capacity trending. Revenue verification. Remaining economic life.

Current scope: The 10-check physics pipeline is validated for utility-scale frequency response assets (ISO-connected BESS). Behind-the-meter validation (peak shaving, TOU arbitrage, demand charge reduction) requires different checks and is a Phase 2 engineering milestone.
